Cancellation of a paid-access course

1. If you no longer wish to take the course for any reason you may cancel your course registration within 14 days of purchase, and apply for a refund for the full course amount, minus a €50.00 administration fee.
2. If you have accessed more than 50% of the course content within the refundable period you can apply for a 50% refund, minus the €50.00 administration fee.
3. Refunds cannot be issued after the final exam has been attempted, or a certificate of graduation has been issued.
4. Any refund requests received by ºÚÁÏÉç will be processed within 7 business days of confirmation by ºÚÁÏÉç that a refund can be approved. Ìý Refunds can only be issued up to twelve (12) months after the initial payment. The monies will be refunded to the credit card that was used to make payment.Ìý It may take several days for the amount to reach your account.Ìý Please allow for this time before contacting ºÚÁÏÉç for a status update.
5. Refunds can only be processed back to the credit card from which the original purchase was made.
6. If your course is cancelled or discontinued by ºÚÁÏÉç, the cost of your course fee will be refunded in full if you purchased the course within 12 months of its cancellation. ºÚÁÏÉç reserves the right to remove courses at any time.

Cancellation of a certification exam

1. If you are no longer able to proceed with the certification exam, you may apply for a refund, minus a €50.00 administration fee.
2. Please note that for any purchases of e-book packages, there are no refunds on the e-book portion of the cost. Refunds will only be processed on the examination fee itself.
3. If you have proceeded with the exam ie. undertaken/attempted it, no refund is available.
4. Any refund requests received by ºÚÁÏÉç will be processed within 7 business days of confirmation by ºÚÁÏÉç that a refund can be approved. Ìý Refunds can only be issued up to twelve (12) months after the initial payment. 6. If your certification exam booking is cancelled by ºÚÁÏÉç, the cost of your certification exam fee will be refunded in full. ºÚÁÏÉç reserves the right to cancel exam bookings at any time.
7. Please note that it is not necessary to apply for a refund of your certification exam fee if you simply wish to defer your examination.Ìý You may postpone your examination for a reasonable amount of time at ºÚÁÏÉç’s discretion.

Use of discounts and promotional rates

1. Where a discount has been applied for a course or exam, and a refund application is successful, you will be reimbursed according to the discounted rate paid.

Online payment guidelines

1. Payments for certifications or online courses will appear on your bank statement as ‘ºÚÁÏÉç GmbH’, depending on the product purchased.

How to apply for a refund

To apply for a refund, please put your request in writing and submit a request to academy@icef.com, including the following information:

• Your full name
• Your username (ºÚÁÏÉç Academy account registration email address)
• Your account ID
• Your receipt number (if known)

IMPORTANT: ÌýAll refunds are subject to an administration fee of €50.00. This will be deducted from the amount that you paid for the certification exam fee or course fee.
